19th Century Photo Album

Tonight a #unique #antique piece for all lovers of #ancient #photography. It is a precious #ancient #photoalbum from the #late #nineteenth century in full #artnouveau style with more than 50 #ancientphotographs from the second half of the #20th century. Many photographs of important #ecclesiastics of #French history, also present #portraits of rather unusual nuns, a #postmortem photograph as often used for newborns who unfortunately did not have an easy survival. The #gem of the #collector is one of the first color photographs (you can see it in the images). Some are in very large format. An absolutely #unusual object to display and let leaf through to fully capture attention and take a trip back in time. The album has only one closing clip.
