Antique Italian Pharmacy Bottles
Today we offer a splendid collection of seven antique pharmacy bottles, six of which are complete with caps; all Italian. In particular, we have a bottle with the label “Russi & co” dating back to the 1920s with the specification of the content: quinine hydrochloride. Then there is the beautiful bottle with the octagonal cap; which has a double label: on the front “Paraformaldehyde” and on the back the original label of the pharmacy of L’Aquila, located in Fermo, 1910s. The highlight of the collection is certainly the bottle from the late nineteenth century with the contemporary label that reads “Pilade Cantelli” chemist pharmacist located in Longiano. Truly an interesting and unique lot, these antique bottles are often found but they come from abroad.
