Antique men's theatre binoculars

Antique Belle Epoque theatre binoculars, men's model, 1900, complete with green satin-lined case (the clasp does not work) bearing the name of the optician from whom it was purchased, J. Hoen, a historic laboratory in Lyon. The binoculars themselves are also branded, functional, and made with "superior quality lenses" as reported on the central body. The leather cover is a sign of its age. A very evocative second-hand object, for a man of elegance and culture from another era.
