Ancient bascule

Today we propose this #rare #antique #scale with a wooden base, a plate and movable built-in weights. The weight of the object placed on the plate was identified by moving the weights along the rods until equilibrium was reached, then reading the graduated #scales. Excellent state of conservation, red color. Known as #bascula it is the "small" model of the most classic #antique floor scale.
