Old Dutch reed scales

Beautiful and large antique market scale used in Holland at the beginning of the second century especially for fruit and vegetables, otherwise known as “bec de canne” scales - as you can guess because of the “duck beaks” in the second photo. Having survived a good 100 years of history, the frieze surrounding the capacity indication (10 kg) is beautiful. To be left as it is with its signs of time or restored if desired; possibly respecting its original colour - dark olive green. Total length 54 cm.
