Art Deco Bust Fierté Signed Tizin

Antique art deco plaster bust expertly crafted in the features, depicts a woman and the wording “fierté” (pride) at the bottom places us in the allegorical representation of pride, which often takes the form of a beautiful woman with a proud look, who does not fear comparison and any judgment. A recurring theme in twentieth century sculpture and beyond; this example from the 1910s-20s and is signed on the back L. Tizin. Height 26 cm.
