Wool carder

Here we are with the #safethings column as well as #tradesofthepast ... with this #ancient #tool that was used to #cardwool .. an #ancientcarder also called #scardasso (see what I'm getting out of you!!) that was used by #wool workers so that the thread was combed. It is 48 cm long. This specimen as you can see is also decorated!
