Guys, a very curious #uniquepiece! #ancient #pharmaceutical #advertising #cardboard from the early #1900s; we are in full #artdeco as you can see from the #design, and it advertises #podoxyl: what was it? Well, an #ancient healing drug for the well-being of the feet that worked thanks to… #radioactivity. In fact, those were the years in which radioactivity was believed to be miraculous for a lot of things: whitening teeth, making hair grow… radium and thorium were inserted everywhere, including drinking water.
