Collection 14 countertypes Indochina 1910s
Very rare collection today: n.14 Ancient photographic dupes on glass plates, each generously sized 18 × 14 centimeters, treated with silver bromide, dating back to the 1910s, all taken in Indochina. The collection is of considerable historical and documentary importance as can also be seen from the photos taken - although they do not do it justice. Each dupe is preserved in its tissue paper and has its own caption. Elephants, sacred ceremonies, royal palaces and works of art on the kingdom of the underworld; this and more you will find documented by these unpublished shots jealously preserved by a French traveler. The plates are from the Cappelli brand, awarded several prizes for the quality of its photographic inventions; purchased in Milan.
