Pair of 19th century nautical lamps

This evening we present you something truly rare: two antique nautical lamps. They date back to 1800 and are two oil lamps with an oscillating system of the cup, which being able to oscillate ensured that the flame remained lit and the oil did not spill out due to the waves during navigation. These are objects that are difficult to recover, they have some signs of aging, they are not identical to each other but different in the workmanship of the bases and the stem. In the upper part one of the two has the handle missing a small piece. Brass, circa 1850, Scandinavian origin, height 25 centimeters. Whale oil was preferentially used.
