Today's #gem is this #pigeonchronometer from the early #twentieth century, a splendid piece of #antique #furniture that will arouse everyone's curiosity with its appearance and its history. #pigeonracing has been much more widespread than you might think, especially since the end of the nineteenth century when the first official competition was held in Belgium. These #chronometers were very precise and were #preciousobjects that certainly not everyone could afford to have. The dimensions are large, 20 x 20 cm, the dial is made of glass and there is a leather handle, as well as the #couletimperator brand.
