Wooden forms for antique shoes

As you know, we made an interesting retreat from an old shoemaker's shop; today we propose this set of 2 wooden shoe trees. These "wooden feet" were used to literally sew the shoe on - especially in an era in which buying a new pair of shoes was certainly not like going to some Chinese site today... the shoe was a luxury item that deserved respect, adequate care, and that generally lasted a lifetime. The two wooden shoes have different sizes, one is 31 cm long and the other 29; the soles are made of iron. A beautiful idea of ​​creative reuse to use them as a cell phone holder... they are perfect, trust me!
