“The George White Scandals” are a series of revues produced on Broadway by George White between 1919 and 1939 with photographs taken from the show of the same name, inspired by the Ziegfeld Folies - a high-class variety show, where beautiful chorus girls performed with elaborate, refined costumes, in the Art Nouveau spirit and that… sometimes left just the right amount uncovered: a breast, a nipple, without ever being vulgar. These are rare revues, also sold at auction, a fresco of an era and a concept of nudity and beauty different from today.
The magazine is complete even if the sheets are detached from the binding, there are 3 tears in the pages (not missing pieces) tears in the paper that do not affect the beauty of the images.
