Large apothecary box Licorice Root

Rare and very very sought after piece: large old wooden pharmaceutical box painted to contain the licorice root. It is 38 cm long; signs of aging that make it even more fascinating, on the front is painted the writing "radica di licorisia" (it is written in small). The licorice root has historically always been present in medicine for its anti-inflammatory and expectorant properties. Price not negotiable.
