19th century laryngoscope model Krishaber

Pezzo da 90: an ancient laryngoscope used to examine the state of the vocal cords, dated as a production in the mid-nineteenth century; it is an absolutely rare model, patented by Doctor Krishaber in 1860. You can find rare examples photographed on the Internet that are part of medical museum collections. It is a more advanced model than the previous one by Doctor Fauvel, since it is also equipped with a concave lens that allows it to reflect a greater quantity of light. The instrument is in its original period case.
