Maiolica 1938 Dutch Jubilee

Today we propose a very special antique piece: the commemorative tile for the Jubilee of Queen Wilhelmina of Orange; period 1898-1938.
The iconography features the famous tree with oranges, symbol of the Orange family, and the military badge of Amsterdam. The background is blue; after all, blue is the characteristic color of Delft porcelain. The tile was produced by Royal Goedewaagen in Gouda and released by NF Velasquez & Co in 1938; it is in excellent condition and has a hole for hanging. Spectacular state of conservation of the colors. Dimensions: side 10 centimeters.
