Provencal egg cupboard

let's go back even today to the times when to have eggs it was enough to get up early in the morning and go with the basket to the henhouse.. in the Provencal farms, like the one from which this delightful cabinet comes, the eggs were then placed strictly with the "tip" down inside these egg holders already built with the necessary holes on the various levels to accommodate the eggs. The old door is protected by a metal mesh to prevent... that cats could take advantage with their paws 👀👀🐱. Cabinet in excellent condition; beautiful country furniture, dimensions 27 x 23 centimeters.
