Ostiario Protestant Church early 1900s

GUESS WHAT! Here is a truly extremely unusual object; of Spanish manufacture but used in Great Britain at the beginning of the last century. It is an ancient OSTIARY, it was used to produce round hosts (particles) for the Protestant church. The hosts were produced by applying pressure to the iron lever and then they fell into the drawer below, protected by a net to keep the environment ventilated and clean. A truly unusual ancient tool, to display in your cabinet of curiosities or to include in your collection of sacred antiques.
