Enamelled sign from the 20s Surveyor

Let's start #2024 with a precious piece; the #antique #liberty #enamelplate dating back to the #1920s and coming from Rennes; in France. This type of #antiqueplates is truly highly sought after both because it is more than a century old and because there are few that have survived in good condition like this one. They were often placed outside the studio-home of professionals; as in this case, a #surveyor, Adrien Guy. The blue frame is classic with, at the bottom right, the name of the #enamelworks that made the #sign. Dimensions 23 x 16 cm.
