Enamelled ladle holder

Typical of French tradition, these #iron-enamelled #spoonholders were hung above the sinks in old farmhouses; sponges and dishcloths were stored at the bottom of the basin, while various kitchen utensils were hung on the bar above. They are country objects, always decorated, some like this one with the enameller's stamp on the back. Period #1930s.
