Japanese lacquer tea box 800-900

A truly valuable piece of recovery: antique Japanese lacquered tea box, late 19th - early 20th century, decorated with typical figures - tea drinkers, the table with cup and teapot on top. Opening it reveals the two finely worked metal compartments on the lids, completely removable they can become small boxes in their own right, where the leaves of two different types of tea were preserved. The key is present but the lock is no longer usable, the decorations can be restored as desired - but in our opinion this little treasure deserves to remain like this, with all its more than one hundred years on display.
