Dutch entrance mirror

Always from the same villa as today's great coffee grinder... In Holland, until the #50s, it was customary to have an old #mirror like this in the entrance and anterooms: the #plaque reads "Always be neat in your clothing; a bird is recognized by its feathers." It is an #ancientDutch saying that reminds us - together with the #oldhangingbrushes - to brighten up the dress, move the tuft, straighten the hat and brush the overcoat 👀🥰 #atmospheres of #othertimes
